De Re Tire & Auto is proud to serve the tire and automotive repair needs of customers throughout Chicago’s South Suburbs. As a TIA-certified tire dealership, we are your car care partner, with three convenient, full-service auto repair and tire sales.
Our History
From the early days of his auto body repair and paint shop, established in the late 1940s on Chicago’s South Side, Geno De Re’s aim was to bring professionalism, high-quality work, and friendly service to each and every customer encounter. In this way, he built the enduring customer service formula of integrity, expertise, and reliability that became the hallmark of De Re Tire & Auto, which Geno opened in Homewood, Illinois, in 1974. Geno added a second location in Oak Forest in 1986. The New Lenox facility opened in 1996, followed by the Orland Hills location in 1999. With the additional locations, De Re Tire & Auto improved its ability to serve the entire south suburban area of Chicago while maintaining its identity as a family-owned and independently operated business. In 2020, we merged our Homewood location with the Oak Forest location.
